WE'RE a Cut above the rest!

Our Story
After graduating from the UConn School of Engineering, I kicked off my career at Pratt and Whitney in 2010. For the next six years, I was in the trenches as a structural analyst, primarily focusing on the F-119 engine for the F22 Raptor.

Following my stint at Pratt and Whitney, I shifted gears to a small engineering firm, where I spent seven years working in mechanism design, prototyping, and product development with a focus on laparoscopic surgical tools.

When my wife’s job brought us to Utah in 2022, I decided to pursue my true passion: knife-making. It wasn't a smooth transition, but my background in aerospace alloys, structural design, mechanism engineering, prototyping, and machining proved incredibly handy.
Estuary
An estuary marks the end of a river’s journey. Simultaneously, an estuary represents a beginning, where freshwater first meets the vast ocean. "The Estuary" project involved five months of intensive design, analysis, and machining before I sold my first knife.
My primary goal has always been clear: crafting top-notch knives. Each Estuary knife, a button lock flipper, is painstakingly hand-fit to ensure a secure, dependable lockup and a swift opening.
The estuary is designed for the everyday carry enthusiast
